A quote from Jeanine during an interview with THE UNION newspaper, Grass Valley
"I assist clients in identifying how they would like their home or business to be and create changes to bring their vision into form."
A brief description highlighting artistic accomplishments on the following projects:
THE CASTLE MARNE BED AND BREAKFAST - Denver Colorado
I designed, decorated and furnished the total restoration of this 93 year old palatial home and conversion into an award winning bed and breakfast. Original architectural details, wall treatments, window dressings and furnishings were researched and re-created to achieve a warm and welcoming surrounding. The year the Inn opened, it way awarded the “Best Bed & Breakfast” in the Colorado competition. Stories and photographs of the Inn have also been featured in four nation-wide magazines, including the cover of “Victorian Magazine”
THE HOTEL COLORADO - Glenwood Springs Colorado
I was awarded the contract to restore this one hundred year old Hotel. I worked for the Hotel two and a half years, researching, restoring and re-creating historic furnishings and artwork in their two Bell Tower Suites, eight suites on the fifth floor and the entire Teddy Roosevelt Suite.
HOULIHAN'S OLD PLACE RESTAURANT - The Gilbert-Robinson Corporation – Kansas City
I employed by the Gilbert Robinson Corporation for nine years to assist them in fifty-eight of their restaurants.
THE ELK'S LODGE - Grass Valley California
I was commissioned by The Elk’s Lodge to design the complete restoration of their magnificent Ballroom. This project included renovating the entire bar area, hand painting a four layer glaze finish on all the wall surfaces of the bar and bar front and painting historic details surrounding the bar front. I designed and furnished a twenty-three foot wide mural depicting the history of the Grass Valley area as well as a 22' X 12' mural in their entertainment alcove reflecting the area redwood forests.
CIRINO’S AT MAIN STREET RESTAURANT - Grass Valley California
I hand-painted a 65’ wide X 13’ high Mediterranean Mural using the Trompe L’Oeil technique….unbelievably small village details… pathways to the radiant ocean waters…finished on three-dimensional wood windows..old world building finishes. Also, a finish on the entire ceiling representing a gorgeous European sky.
